AdVantage One has serviced companies and organizations with identity design packages, direct mail campaigns, WebSite design/hosting and promotional products for all types of marketing programs.

Through Jimmie’s commitment to "raising the bar" in her professional life, she has achieved the status of Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) which required 170 hours of structured curriculum, passing a comprehensive exam as well as five years active in the business and contribution to the industry. In addition, she has achieved her certification as a Professional Trainer. The Promotional Products Association International has secured her time to train in the area of graphic design, copyright law, and the use of digital/electronic art. As she teaches her topic, you will find Jimmie threading her “Life” philosophy in and out of her sessions. So you could say, not only did you receive class information but left personally motivated as well.

As a PPAI Certified Trainer, Southerland is facilitating training programs in the Promotional Product Industry as well as educating businesses outside of that arena on the importance of using Promotional Products for their company's growth. She has been invited to speak to several Graphic Design college classes, introducing them to her world of Promotional Marketing. She credits her Mentor, Jim Rohn for giving her the skills and courage to achieve her speaking goals. She had also sat under the training of other speakers that have had great influence on her such as Les Brown, pictured to the right.

Jimmie's personal life is very special to her. She will often use quotes remembered from childhood during her Seminars, as they are more a part of her life today than when her Grandmother Huggins spoke them. And those of you that know Jimmie, already know how that she holds her Parents dear to her heart.

She loves to spend as much of her free time as possible with the man in her life, her very supportive husband, Doug, and their Golden Retriever, Trout, on the coast of NC. When she is not fishing with Doug they are either riding bikes or watching those fabulous East Coast, Topsail Beach Sunsets.

As for her children...

Now that both of her sons are grown men, they have a life of their own but they are still a vital part of Jimmie's life. She sees them as much as possible and has been known to drive over to see them just for one of those special hugs that only a son can give! In the not too distant future Jimmie will add to her children, Nichole. She has come into the family by becoming Jay's wife.
